We have been here in Riverside RV Park, Canby, Oregon, for 2 days now. It has rained most of the time and the temps have been in the 40's and 50's.We have been out looking around some. Did find a Camping World and they had a couple of things that we had been looking for.
We were here in this same RV Park the first part of April, so I am going to give you some information of what happened earlier this month.
On 5 April. 09 my granddaughter Danielle, and her fiancee Josh, were married. We had a perfect day, the temp was in the 70's, no rain, and the sun was shining. It was a beautiful wedding. I am happy for these two great young people.
We also had some time to do some looking around the area. So one day I captured my son Doug and other granddaughter Brittany and took them on a site seeing tour. One of the places is the Camp 18 restaurant. Besides being a restaurant it is a museum of old lumber camp equipment used to cut and move the huge trees. Plus the food is very good.
Despite all the rain yesterday, I did get out and go shopping. I went to The Fabric Depot in Portland. I have visited a lot of fabric shops as we travel, but this was the LARGEST. Not only did they have fabric for all types of sewing, they had everything you would need to complete the project. The thread selection was mind boggling. I had a hard time picking out just four basic colors!
