Medford, Oregon

Drove to Medford, Oregon from Gold hill via the Old Stage Road. It is a scenic drive. While in Medford we went to Harry and Davids store. Picked up some vegetables and some dark chocolate truffles mmmm good. We stopped in the visitors center and while getting information found out the lady working there had relatives in Barstow, CA the town we used to live in. Small world.
Had lunch at the Black Bear restaurant. Large portions. I would go back. Drove back to campground via old highway 99. Another scenic drive. Lots of cattle, horses, goats, llamas, and sheep.
Took a walk around the campground and talked with a group from a Good Sam chapter. Four of the men were former Navy men. WWII and Korea.
