First RVToday we drove to Sunny Valley, OR to see the covered bridge over Grave Creek. Near the bridge is the Applegate Wagon Trail Interpretive Center. The Applegate Trail ran thru Sonny Valley and on north. The interpretive center was very interesting, better than a lot of museums, I could read the write ups on the displays.
I found out today one of the reason bridges were covered. Horses refused to cross bridges with no sides, some one decide that horses went into barns with no trouble, why not cover the bridge, I guess it worked.
Today is our last day here at Rogue River Valley State Park. Tomorrow we leave headed north. I think we will go to Canby, OR for a few days. It is near my grandaughter Danielle and her husband Josh.
