We went back to - The Glass Forge - to watch the glass blowers work. We have been in several glass shops and have seen glassblowers before, but here you can get a lot closer to them and talk to them as they are working. It was interesting to watch them. I learned a lot.
We also went to - The Crater Rock Museum - located in Central Point, OR. If you are a rock hound it is very interesting. Lots of rocks and minerals. The obsidian was the best polished rock display. They also had a glass dish that looked like it was made out of cloth. It was individual threads of glass laid together and then heated so they adhered together. Then it was heated and bent to the shape of a bowl. It was beautiful. No pictures. You will have to go see it. This museum is one of the better museums I have been in.
It is spring here in Orgeon, We have been watching the different flowers come in to bloom. One of my favorite flowers is the lilac. It smells good and is beautiful. I remember as a little kid when the lilacs came in to bloom summer was not far away.
