FORT NELSON - THE NEXT STOP

It has cooled off  and looks like rain. We saw 2 moose and a coyote today.  No pictures of these animals, they won’t stop and pose.  Arrived at Fort Nelson and stayed at the Westend Campground.  We saw a small fox run across the back of the park with dinner in it’s mouth.

I haven’t mention this before, but we have been taking turns making dinner.  A couple nights ago Diana made a chicken taco soup.  VERY GOOD!!!!  Tonight was my turn and I fixed spaghetti with meat sauce.  I cheated  -  I found the sauce in a bottle.

The sunset is at Dawson Creek, BC, and the wood cutter was along the road to Fort Nelson.  The last picture is our rigs at the Westend campground.  We drove 286 miles today and the temp was 50 degrees at 4:00 PM.

In September of 2005 we stayed here in Fort Nelson for a week while we had a new clutch installed in our truck.  At that time we stayed at the Blue Bell RV Park which is in the center of town so we could walk to the grocery store and restaurants.  After we got our truck back we drove to  Fort Liard, Northwest Territories.  It is about one hundred miles of dirt road one way.  On the way back we saw a lynx sitting along the road.  A beautiful big kitty cat.
